Jos Alukkas Presents Miss South India 2025 – 23rd Edition: Ushering a New Era of Pageantry
Kochi/Bangalore, 2025 – Jos Alukkas proudly presents Miss South India 2025, marking the 23rd edition of the iconic pageant. Co-powered by Naturals and Iha Designs, and co-presented by Susan Lawrence and Face & Glow, this year’s edition sets a groundbreaking precedent in Indian pageantry.
For the first time in India, Miss South India 2025 rejects traditional beauty benchmarks such as height, weight, skin tone, regional origin, or socioeconomic background. Instead, it celebrates fierce, authentic personalities, women whose inner strength, vision, and dedication to social causes shine beyond conventional definitions of beauty. With the official hashtags #beyondboundaries and #beyondbeauty, this year’s event promises to redefine pageantry, embracing diversity, empowerment, and modern ideals.
The top 23 finalists will participate in a 14-day event starting September 22 in Kochi and concluding with a grand finale on October 4 in Bangalore. The finale will be hosted at Oterra Hotel, Electronic City, Bangalore, the official hospitality partner. Contestants will undergo professional grooming sessions, photoshoots, and fashion shows designed to empower them to showcase their best selves.
The pageant will celebrate South Indian culture and femininity, with a star-studded finale featuring past pageant winners from across India as judges and special guests.
The 2025 edition is led by Archana Ravi, former Miss South India runner-up (2016), Miss Super Globe India winner, Miss Super Globe World runner-up, and Top 10 finalist at Miss Universe India. She becomes the first Malayali Pageant Director for Miss South India, embarking on a three-year tenure that blends tradition with a vision of modern empowerment.
Beyond glamour, Miss South India 2025 partners with the Rotary Club of Cochin Milan to raise funds for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) equipment for hospitals across Kerala. The finalists are using their platform to address high newborn mortality due to inadequate incubation facilities.
